It can be hard to see our purpose, our beauty, our story in this big, demanding world. God’s words of truth and love are all-too-often drowned out by words of comparison, self-criticism, and doubt.
Today my thoughts have been on you, the small, simple soul reading these words. I want you to know that you matter. That God created you, chose you, pursues you, and loves you with an everlasting love.
It often feels vulnerable for me to share my words in general, but the poetry I write feels especially personal and consequently riskier to share.
But these are the words that were on my heart for you today:
Esther 4:14 Inspired
No one else
can live
in your skin,
in your breath,
in your space,
in your moment,
in your story.
You, beautiful sister,
were created
for such a time as this.
