Are you walking in darkness, my friend,

unable to see where to place your feet

let alone what might lie ahead?

A Light shine in the darkness.

Is your vision dimmed

and blurred by tears

making it impossible to find your way?

A Light shine in the darkness.

Do worry and heartache

keep you up in the night

until it seems daylight simply won’t dawn?

The Light shines.

The Light has a name;

Jesus.

And the darkness has not overcome it.
