A Prayer for the One Feeling Small

Sometimes this big world makes us feel small and insignificant.  But God speaks truth into the darkness:

  • We are not overlooked; we are pursued (Luke 19:10; Psalm 139:11-12).
  • We are not alone; God is with us, and He holds onto us (Psalm 139:5; Matthew 28:20; Isaiah 41:10).
  • We are not invisible; we are uniquely and individually loved by our infinite God (Psalm 139:13-18).

So to the one feeling small today, I am praying this scripture over you:

“May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.  Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God” (Ephesians 3:18-19, NLT).

Until next time,

Shelby
