“ … as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him” (Psalm 103:12-13).

Sometimes I let my failures define me. The words I wish I hadn’t said, the love I wish I had shown but didn’t.
Maybe you, too, know what it is like to spiral into negative self-talk and self-condemnation.
Oh, friend—we need a God whose grace is greater than our failures. We need to meditate on the truth of God’s abundant forgiveness and pursuing love and allow them to speak healing into our souls.
The truth is, “ … as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him” (Psalm 103:12-13).
If you are feeling “less-than” today and struggling to let go of mistakes, consider these verses. Let them speak to your hurting heart, reminding us that as believers we have a Father who offers us forgiveness for our sins and compassion for our human failings.
Until next time,
Shelby
